| Maintenance Supervisor: This will be a Direct Hire. Monday-Saturday Rotating Sunday Annual Salary 66,560 up to 50 hrs worked, anything over 50 in a week is paid at straight time of $32.00 an hour. JOB DUTIES Monitor and control the costs associated within the Maintenance Department which align with the goals and objectives of the organization Monitor and control the overtime within the Maintenance Department which align with the goals and objectives of the organization Direct the day to day functions of the maintenance technicians within assigned areas Ensure 100% completion of the PM program within 2 weeks of the due date and the effectiveness of the program Monitor the equipment startup after planned down days. Ensure the startup is meeting the objectives of the organization Ensure 100% adherence/effectiveness of the LOCK OUT TAG OUT program Train/coach maintenance technicians to Trouble shoot equipment failures from the electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC prospective Trouble shoot equipment failures from the electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC prospective when required and/or needed Ensure that spare parts are organized and the maintenance department is adhering to the company policys and procedures related to the spare part warehouse Effectively communicate with the maintenance technicians on equipment issues Monitor the Continuous Improvement and R&D projects assigned and ensure the projects are being completed within budget and on time Ensure support to the Process Sign-Off (PSO) activity to ensure each process and associated documentation is ready for full production Provide ongoing technical support to continuously improve process performance while reducing manufacturing cost. Streamline and simplify existing processes, work methods, material delivery and sequencing systems to eliminate non-value added activity Provide technical support to the HSE Department to eliminate safety and environmental hazards and risks within the facility Responsible for ensuring applicable tools & techniques are identified. This includes following other divisions and industries in order to benchmark the latest technologies and ensuring the implementation of the best practices Ensure 100% participation by maintenance in the Continuous Improvement Team program Assist with the development of and adherence to QS-9000 compliant Maintenance procedures and documentation Interface closely with Production and all plant support groups to ensure projects are defined accurately and executed effectively Document, evaluate and improve Maintenance objectives Perform internal audits of various company standard systems (QS-9000, 5S, ISO-14001, etc.) as required Participate in capital project plans and projections Participate in safety, environmental and Total Quality Management committees QUALIFICATIONS 5 - 7 years prior industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience or equivalent, preferably acquired in the oil and gas industry with at least 1 year in a management position. University/College Bachelor degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Team approach to problem solving. Strong, verbal and written communication skills. Proven project and time management skills. Computer literate, including proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Project, RS Logics, Access and Excel. Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, QS-9000, SPC and Continuous Improvement Preventive/Predictive Maintenance, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLC Programming and AC/DC Drives.
